Beweisregel

01

Start with what LoloBuy officially confirms

LoloBuy's public website describes warehouse quality inspection, inspection feedback and global shipping. The official Google Play listing, updated on 13 September 2026, describes a cross-border shopping platform for discovering and purchasing Chinese products, with payment, language or currency support and international shipping. The Apple listing gives a similar description. Together, these sources support a practical workflow: preserve the seller record, compare the received item with warehouse evidence, and then price an international parcel.

Those statements do not prove that every product or route is available to Sweden, that a quote includes Swedish VAT and customs charges, or that delivery will take a fixed number of days. They also do not guarantee customs release. Confirm the precise Swedish postcode, contents and currently available route in the live account. Treat a live quote as evidence for that parcel on that date, not as a permanent national rate.

02

Create the seller record before payment

A spreadsheet can be a useful discovery tool, but the original listing is the transaction evidence. Save the seller URL, seller name, listing title, chosen colour, size or model, quantity, item price and domestic-China delivery terms. Add the capture date and keep the checkout confirmation. If the seller edits the page later, this record lets you compare what was ordered with the warehouse item and the final delivery.

Record category-specific details. For clothing, keep the seller's measurement chart and the dimensions that matter. For footwear, record foot or insole length rather than assuming that a printed EU size is consistent. For electronics, save the model, plug, voltage, battery information and included accessories. For toys, radio equipment, cosmetics, batteries or protective gear, identify the relevant EU safety or import requirements before purchase. A listing being purchasable does not prove that the item is lawful or suitable for import into Sweden.

Arbeitscheckliste

✓Save the original URL, seller and capture date
✓Record the exact variation, quantity and price
✓Keep measurements, model numbers and included parts
✓Check category-specific import and safety rules
✓Use spreadsheet entries as research leads, not guarantees
03

Use warehouse QC for visible decisions

When inspection feedback is available, compare identity, variation, quantity, visible condition, labels and accessories with the saved order. Ask questions that could change the shipping decision: is a named measurement correct, is the model number visible, is a connector included, is a print aligned, or is an edge damaged? If a critical point is absent and an appropriate inspection option is offered, request one focused image or measurement rather than a vague recheck.

QC has limits. Lighting changes perceived colour, camera perspective changes proportions and packaging hides surfaces. A photograph cannot establish chemical composition, battery capacity, electrical safety, radio conformity, authenticity or a valid EU declaration of conformity. Use the evidence to approve, seek clarification, or follow the seller and platform's currently available return process. Download the images and decisions before parcel submission.

04

Confirm the real dispatch origin and Swedish destination

Swedish Customs bases the import treatment on where the goods are sent from, not the language of the storefront or the currency on screen. Its online-shopping guidance says purchases from within the EU do not attract customs duty or import VAT, while goods sent from outside the EU always attract VAT and may attract customs charges depending on the product, value and origin. A European-facing listing is therefore not evidence that stock is already in the EU.

Before consolidation, confirm the final Swedish postcode, actual dispatch country, carrier and hand-off arrangement. Check whether the route accepts every item in the carton and whether tracking continues after the local hand-off. A line marketed as tax-inclusive or duty-paid should be supported by the live quote or terms, with the included charges identified. Do not infer that coverage from a route nickname.

05

Build a four-layer landed-cost worksheet

Separate costs into four layers. The product layer includes the item price, seller delivery within China, payment conversion and checkout charges. The warehouse layer contains only the inspection, repacking or protection services actually selected. The international layer begins with the completed carton's weight and dimensions: packaging, chargeable weight, route price, restrictions, tracking and protection terms. The Sweden layer contains VAT, customs duty and any carrier or declarant administration charge.

Compare live routes using the same carton and Swedish postcode. Record the quote date, actual weight, dimensions, chargeable weight, contents and compensation conditions. A heavier parcel is not automatically worse value, and consolidation is not automatically cheaper: dimensional weight, route bands, restricted goods and declaration-line charges can change the result. Mark each amount as quoted, paid, estimated or final so that an estimate is never mistaken for a completed landed cost.

Arbeitscheckliste

✓Separate product, warehouse, freight and import costs
✓Record actual dimensions and chargeable weight
✓Compare routes with the same carton and postcode
✓Keep VAT, duty and carrier fees on separate lines
✓Replace estimates with final documents after delivery
06

Calculate Swedish VAT by the real product category

Swedish Customs states that VAT is always due on goods bought from a country outside the EU, regardless of value. The Swedish Tax Agency identifies 25% as the standard rate for many goods and services, while reduced rates and exemptions apply to specific categories. For example, its current guidance says food sales moved to 6% on 1 April 2026, while restaurant services remain at 12%. Most ordinary apparel, accessories and electronics are commonly associated with the standard rate, but the exact goods and current import calculation still need verification.

Use the Swedish Customs Calculator for the real category and value instead of applying one percentage to every cart. Preserve the checkout invoice and any statement that VAT was collected. If checkout does not clearly identify Swedish VAT or other import charges, budget for collection after arrival. Swedish Customs says a shop may collect customs duty and VAT at checkout, or the carrier or declarant may invoice them before releasing the package. A carrier administration fee is separate from VAT and customs duty and should have its own worksheet line.

07

Apply the €3 charge by declaration line, not parcel count

Since 1 July 2026, Swedish Customs applies a €3 customs charge to online goods worth €150 or less when dispatched from outside the EU. The authority's current fixed Swedish conversion for the threshold is SEK 1,655.30, but buyers should recheck the official page or calculator before ordering. The charge applies to all non-EU origins, not only China, and it is temporary until 1 July 2028.

The amount is determined by the customs declaration's goods lines. Swedish Customs gives a concrete example: a phone case and a shirt are different goods lines and produce €6, while identical goods are usually one line and produce €3. Some shops may declare identical products as separate lines for technical reasons. That means neither '€3 per parcel' nor '€3 per physical unit' is a reliable shortcut. Product description, quantity, value and declaration structure matter.

If the consignment exceeds €150, percentage-based duty may apply instead, depending on the goods. Do not split or misdescribe a shipment to manufacture a lower charge. Accurate descriptions, quantities and values are the basis used by the shop or carrier to calculate the declaration, and the supporting documents should match the actual contents.

08

Separate the confirmed charge from the pending handling fee

Swedish Customs has announced another EU-wide handling fee for goods from outside the EU, to be introduced no later than 1 November 2026 and applied regardless of value. As of 17 September 2026, its official consumer page says the amount and further details will be published once a decision is made. That is a confirmed future policy direction, not a confirmed kronor amount that can be inserted into today's landed-cost worksheet.

Keep three concepts separate: the €3 low-value customs charge already in force, Swedish import VAT, and a carrier's own administration or declaration fee. The pending EU handling fee would be another line when its final rules take effect. Recheck Swedish Customs immediately before parcel submission, particularly for a shipment expected to enter Sweden near or after November. An estimate should include a clearly labelled contingency, not a fabricated fee.

09

Check restricted goods and product safety before shipping

Swedish Customs publishes special online-shopping guidance for alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes and liquids, medicines, supplements, food, weapons and dangerous objects, fireworks and other explosives. Batteries, liquids, powders and branded goods can also affect route acceptance or require extra evidence. Check the exact category before payment and again before consolidation; a seller's willingness to ship domestically inside China is not an import approval for Sweden.

EU product-safety guidance says consumer goods sold in the Union must be safe, while CE marking applies only to covered product groups. A visible CE logo in a warehouse photograph does not prove that testing, technical documentation or the responsible economic operator is valid. For toys, electronics, radio equipment, protective gear, cosmetics and children's products, identify the applicable rules and current Safety Gate recalls. If the evidence is inadequate, make that a purchasing decision before international dispatch rather than a customs problem afterwards.

10

Track the hand-offs and preserve import evidence

Save both the LoloBuy parcel reference and the carrier tracking number. Platform statuses describe purchasing, warehouse and dispatch stages; carrier scans describe collection, export, customs presentation and last-mile delivery. A quiet tracking period does not by itself prove loss or customs seizure. Check the latest carrier event, compare it with the platform status and contact the party that controls the current stage with the parcel reference and supporting documents.

Keep the original listing capture, invoice, payment record, QC files, parcel declaration, carrier statement, VAT or customs receipt, tracking history and delivery photographs together. Verify unexpected payment messages through a carrier or authority website reached independently, not through the message link. Redact names, addresses, payment details and complete tracking numbers before sharing any experience publicly.

No identifiable Sweden-specific customer-review sample was used for this guide. The small public app-store sample found during research did not document a parcel to Sweden, its declaration lines, charges or delivery outcome, so it cannot support claims about Swedish delivery speed, customs success or overall satisfaction. Official sources establish the current rules; live LoloBuy route details and the result of an individual shipment still require direct verification.
