01

Start with what LoloBuy actually confirms

LoloBuy's public website describes warehouse quality inspection, inspection feedback and global shipping. Its official app-store listings describe a cross-border shopping platform for discovering and purchasing Chinese products, with payment, language or currency support and international shipping. This supports a practical sequence: document the listing, compare warehouse evidence with the order, then review current routes for the precise Spanish address.

They do not establish that every product is admissible in Spain, that a route is always available or that a displayed product price includes Spanish IVA, customs duty and carrier handling. They also do not prove a fixed shipping time or customs outcome. Treat prices, services and route restrictions shown in the live account as order-specific facts, then use Spanish Tax Agency guidance for the import side.

02

Save the seller record before payment

A spreadsheet row can help you discover a product, but the original seller page is the evidence. Save the URL, seller, title, selected colour, size or model, quantity, price and domestic-China delivery terms. Capture the exact variation. If the listing changes, that dated record supports comparison with warehouse photographs and the delivered item.

Record category-specific details. For clothing, retain the size chart and the measurements that matter. For shoes, use foot or insole length rather than assuming an EU size label is consistent. For electronics, save the model, plug, voltage, battery details and included accessories. For toys, radio equipment, batteries, cosmetics or protective gear, identify the relevant safety documentation before buying. A seller accepting payment is not evidence that Spanish customs will admit the item.

Működési ellenőrző lista

✓Keep the original seller URL and capture date
✓Record the exact variation, quantity and price
✓Save measurements, model numbers and included parts
✓Identify import or safety requirements before payment
✓Use a spreadsheet as a research lead, not a guarantee
03

Use warehouse QC for visible questions

When inspection feedback becomes available, compare identity, variation, quantity, visible condition, labels and accessories with the saved order. Ask questions that could change the approval decision: is the named measurement correct, is the model number visible, is a connector present, is the sole or print aligned, or is an edge damaged? If a critical detail is missing and an appropriate inspection option is offered, request one focused image or measurement.

QC evidence has boundaries. Lighting affects colour, camera perspective affects proportions and packaging hides surfaces. A photo cannot establish chemical composition, battery capacity, electrical safety, radio conformity, authenticity or a valid EU declaration of conformity. Use visible evidence to approve, seek clarification, or follow the return or exchange process currently available under the seller and platform terms. Download the images before parcel submission.

04

Confirm which Spanish tax territory receives the parcel

Do not use one Spain calculation for every address. The Spanish Tax Agency distinguishes the mainland and Balearic Islands from the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. Its June 2026 FAQ says goods introduced into the Canary Islands require customs formalities whether they arrive from another part of Spain, another EU country or a non-EU country. The usual EU IVA one-stop mechanisms described for low-value imports do not apply there in the same way; IGIC and local procedures may be relevant.

The same FAQ says shipments entering Ceuta or Melilla require customs formalities, but the temporary €3 product-category duty is not charged there. For the Canary Islands, the €3 duty does apply when goods are imported from outside the EU. These territorial differences affect the border workflow, not only the postcode shown on a rate quote. Confirm the destination regime and live carrier coverage before building the parcel.

05

Build a landed-cost worksheet instead of guessing

Separate the order into four layers. The product layer includes the item price, seller delivery within China, payment conversion and checkout charges. The warehouse layer contains only the inspection, repacking or protection services actually selected. The international layer begins with the completed carton's weight and dimensions: packaging, chargeable weight, route price, restrictions, tracking scope and protection terms. The Spain layer contains IVA or the relevant territorial tax, customs duty and any carrier administration fee.

Compare live LoloBuy routes using the same parcel and destination postcode. Record the quote date, weight, dimensions, chargeable weight, contents and compensation conditions. Do not copy another buyer's price or delivery estimate: a different carton, route, date or address can change the result. Mark every amount as quoted, paid, estimated or final.

Működési ellenőrző lista

✓Separate product, warehouse, freight and import costs
✓Record actual dimensions and chargeable weight
✓Compare routes with the same carton and postcode
✓Keep IVA, duty and carrier fees on separate lines
✓Replace estimates with final documents after delivery
06

Check whether IVA is collected through IOSS

For internet purchases worth up to €150, the Spanish Tax Agency describes IOSS as an optional system through which a participating online portal can collect and remit the IVA due in Spain. If the transaction uses that system, the purchase price includes IVA. If the portal does not participate, the party introducing the goods can account for import IVA and the carrier may require payment before delivery, potentially with an administration charge.

Do not infer IOSS participation from a euro price, a Spanish-language interface or a .es domain. Read the live checkout and terms, then preserve the invoice. The Tax Agency says the applicable VAT is the Spanish rate and notes that a carrier completing the simplified customs formalities for a shipment up to €150 may apply the general 21% rate. Its FAQ even warns that books may be taxed at 21% under that carrier procedure, so do not automatically substitute a familiar domestic reduced rate.

Use separate columns for goods, domestic China delivery, international freight, insurance if any, duty, IVA, and carrier fees. If checkout says tax is included, record the wording and amount. If it does not expressly say IVA and handling are included, budget for possible collection on arrival without inventing a fixed fee.

07

Apply the €3 duty by customs category, not parcel count

Since 1 July 2026, Spain applies the EU temporary fixed duty to consumer internet purchases worth up to and including €150 when the goods are dispatched from outside the EU. The Spanish Tax Agency states that the charge is €3 for each category of articles. The shipment origin after purchase is decisive: the seller's domain, currency or registered address does not prove the goods are already in the EU.

The European Commission explains that the duty follows tariff classification rather than physical quantity. Five T-shirts in the same classification generate one €3 line, while T-shirts and a watch create two classifications and €6. Therefore, neither '€3 per parcel' nor '€3 for every unit' is a safe rule. Composition, description and origin can affect whether products share a declaration line.

For consignments above €150, the fixed low-value calculation is not the whole answer. The Spanish Tax Agency says non-EU goods can be subject to import duty, IVA or IGIC, possible excise taxes and an import declaration. The carrier, a customs representative or the recipient may lodge that declaration. Compare consolidation only after classifying the real contents; splitting parcels does not lawfully erase tax or duty.

08

Check restrictions and EU product safety before shipping

The Spanish Tax Agency FAQ says goods that cannot legally be imported into the EU—its examples include weapons and drugs—will not be admitted merely because they were purchased online. Other imports can require sanitary, veterinary or commercial controls, permits or licences. It also warns that intentionally declaring less than the price paid can be sanctioned. Accurate descriptions, quantities and values are part of the customs evidence, not optional parcel optimisation.

EU guidance says all consumer goods sold in the Union must comply with product-safety rules. CE marking applies only to covered categories, including toys, drones, electrical and electronic equipment, certain batteries and machinery, personal protective equipment and medical devices. A visible CE logo is the manufacturer's declaration; a warehouse photograph of that logo does not prove the underlying technical documentation, testing or responsible operator is valid.

Check the exact product category and current Safety Gate recalls before payment. If essential compliance evidence cannot be supported, make that a buying decision while the item can still be addressed with the seller rather than a customs problem after international dispatch.

09

Track the declaration and preserve records for four years

Save both the LoloBuy parcel reference and the carrier tracking number. Platform statuses describe purchasing, warehouse and dispatch stages; carrier scans describe collection, export, customs presentation and last-mile delivery. The Tax Agency FAQ points consumers to an AEAT shipment-number enquiry that can show whether a shipment has already been declared. Use official portals reached independently rather than payment links in unexpected messages.

The same FAQ says the Tax Agency may ask for the purchase invoice and proof of payment after delivery, and that buyers must retain the documentation for four years. Keep the original listing capture, checkout invoice, payment record, QC images, parcel declaration, carrier statement, tax or duty receipt, tracking events and delivery photographs together. Redact names, addresses, payment references and full tracking numbers before sharing any review.

10

Understand returns before approving the parcel

Spanish Tax Agency guidance separates IVA from the new fixed duty. IVA can be refunded: under IOSS, the seller or platform handles it with the product refund; outside IOSS, the buyer generally approaches the carrier and, in some cases, Customs. The €3 duty is normally not refunded when an order is returned, except where it is properly shown that the goods were defective or did not meet the contract.

That difference makes low-value returns more complex than a seller refund alone. Before shipping, compare the likely landed cost and the evidence needed if the product is wrong. If returning after delivery, follow the current seller, LoloBuy, carrier and customs procedures, preserve proof of export and request each refund from the party that collected the charge. Do not assume one refund automatically reverses every payment.

No identifiable Spain-specific customer-review sample was used for this guide. The public app-store sample found during research was very small and did not document a parcel sent to Spain, its declaration or its landed cost. It cannot support claims about delivery speed, customs success or general satisfaction. Official sources establish the current rules; live route availability, prices and an individual shipment's outcome still require direct verification.
