Zasada dowodu

01

Start with the facts LoloBuy publishes

LoloBuy's public website describes warehouse quality inspection, inspection feedback and global shipping. Its official mobile-store listings describe a cross-border shopping platform for discovering and purchasing Chinese products, with payment, language or currency support and international shipping. The Apple App Store showed version 1.0.6 when this guide was reviewed on 21 September 2026. Together, those statements support a workflow in which the buyer preserves the seller record, reviews warehouse evidence and then submits an international parcel.

The public material does not prove that every item or shipping line is available to Portugal. It does not publish one permanent Portugal price, promise a delivery window, say that every quote includes Portuguese IVA and customs duty, or guarantee release by customs. Confirm the destination postcode, accepted contents, chargeable weight, tax wording and route in the live account. A current quote is evidence for one carton on one date, not a national tariff.

02

Save the seller evidence before checkout

A spreadsheet is useful for product discovery, but the original seller page remains the transaction evidence. Save the URL, seller name, listing title, selected colour, size or model, quantity, item price, domestic-China delivery terms and capture date. Keep the payment and order confirmation too. If a listing changes or disappears, this record gives the warehouse team, seller and buyer a common description of what was ordered.

Capture category-specific details. For clothing, retain the seller's measurement table instead of relying on an S, M or L label. For shoes, record foot or insole length. For electronics, save the model, plug, voltage, radio functions, battery details and included accessories. For toys, cosmetics, protective equipment, radio devices or batteries, identify the Portuguese and EU import or product-safety evidence required before paying. A product being listed or purchasable is not proof that it is compliant.

03

Turn warehouse QC into a shipping decision

When inspection feedback is available, compare identity, variation, quantity, visible condition, labels and accessories against the saved order. Ask questions that can change the decision: is the named measurement correct, is the model number readable, is a connector present, is a seam damaged, or is the print aligned? If an essential point is missing and a suitable inspection option is available, request one focused photograph or measurement rather than asking for a general recheck.

QC has firm limits. Lighting can alter colour, perspective can distort proportions and packaging can conceal surfaces. Photographs cannot establish chemical composition, electrical safety, radio conformity, battery capacity, authenticity or a valid EU declaration of conformity. Use the visible evidence to approve, seek clarification, or follow the seller and platform's currently available return process. Download the QC files and decision notes before the parcel is submitted.

04

Confirm origin, destination and tax territory

Import treatment follows the movement of the goods, not the language or currency shown on a storefront. Article 1 of Portugal's VAT Code treats imports as taxable and defines imported distance sales as goods dispatched from a third country or territory to a qualifying buyer in an EU member state. A Portuguese interface, a euro display or a European-facing listing therefore does not prove that stock is already inside the Union.

Record the real dispatch country and the exact destination. Mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores are all Portuguese territory, but Article 18 allows the autonomous regions to set reduced IVA rates for transactions and customs clearance there. The delivery postcode can therefore matter. Confirm the carrier, first-mile and last-mile hand-offs, item acceptance and whether tracking continues after transfer. If a route is described as tax-inclusive, require order-specific wording that identifies which charges are covered.

05

Build the landed cost in four layers

Separate the purchase into four cost layers. The product layer includes item price, seller delivery inside China, currency conversion and checkout charges. The warehouse layer contains only the inspection, repacking or protection services actually selected. The international layer begins after packing and includes final dimensions, actual and chargeable weight, route price, restrictions, tracking and protection terms. The Portugal layer contains import IVA, customs duty and any carrier or declarant administration charge.

Compare live routes using the same completed carton and postcode. Record the quote date, weight, dimensions, chargeable weight, contents and compensation conditions. Consolidation can reduce repeated base charges, but it is not automatically cheaper: dimensional weight, route bands, restricted items and declaration lines can change the result. Label every number as quoted, paid, estimated or final, then replace estimates with carrier and customs documents after delivery.

06

Use the correct Portuguese IVA rate

Article 18 of Portugal's VAT Code applies 6% to imports on List I, 13% to List II and 23% to the remaining mainland imports. Your Europe also lists 23% as Portugal's standard rate and warns that its table does not include special regional rates such as the Azores. Most ordinary apparel, accessories and electronics will often fall under the standard rate, but the product classification and destination territory—not an informal product label—determine the actual treatment.

Do not simply multiply the seller price by 23% and call the result final. Customs valuation can include more than the displayed item price, and a carrier may add a separate clearance or administration fee. A delivery to Madeira or the Azores can involve a different regional rate. Keep product value, freight, insurance, duty, IVA and carrier fees on distinct worksheet lines, and verify the live rate for the real category and postcode with Portugal's Tax and Customs Authority.

07

Check IOSS instead of assuming it

The Import One-Stop Shop is an EU mechanism that lets qualifying sellers or electronic interfaces declare and pay destination-country VAT on imported distance sales. The Council of the EU explains that IOSS enables VAT to be paid when the consumer purchases the goods rather than collected at the border. The familiar low-value scope is for eligible consignments whose intrinsic value does not exceed €150; it is not a universal tax waiver.

A Portuguese-language screen, a euro price or a generic 'tax included' label does not establish IOSS use. Read the live checkout and route terms, keep the invoice, and look for an explicit statement that destination IVA was collected. If the documents are silent, budget for import collection and a possible carrier handling fee. Ask for clarification before parcel submission, and never publish an IOSS identification number in a review or tracking screenshot.

08

Apply the €3 customs duty by tariff classification

Since 1 July 2026, the EU has applied a temporary €3 customs duty to consumer goods in low-value consignments worth up to €150 and imported from outside the Union. The European Commission says the seller or importer declares and pays the charge through the customs process. It is distinct from IVA, so proof that IVA was collected does not by itself prove that the duty or a carrier administration fee is covered.

The charge follows tariff classification, not the physical number of pieces or a simple parcel count. The Commission's example treats five T-shirts in one classification as €3, while T-shirts and a watch in two classifications produce €6. That means neither '€3 per parcel' nor '€3 per item' is a reliable shortcut. Materials, function and declaration structure can change the tariff lines.

For a consignment above €150, the flat low-value method is not the complete customs calculation; ordinary tariff treatment may apply based on classification and origin. Do not split, undervalue or misdescribe a shipment to manufacture a lower charge. Accurate descriptions, quantities and values support lawful clearance and any later correction or dispute.

09

Screen restrictions and EU product safety early

Check restricted and controlled categories before purchase and again before consolidation. Food, medicines, plants, animal products, weapons, endangered-species materials and cultural goods can face prohibitions or documentary controls. Batteries, liquids, powders, branded goods and radio equipment can also affect carrier acceptance even when import is legally possible. Platform acceptance, carrier acceptance and lawful import are three separate questions.

EU guidance says all consumer goods sold in the Union must comply with product-safety rules. CE marking applies only to covered categories, including toys, drones, electrical or electronic equipment, some batteries and machinery, personal protective equipment and medical devices. A CE logo visible in a QC image is not proof that testing, technical documentation or the responsible economic operator is valid. Check the exact category and Safety Gate recalls; missing essential evidence is a pre-shipping decision, not a problem to discover after arrival.

10

Track each hand-off and keep the import file

Save both the LoloBuy parcel reference and the carrier tracking number. Platform statuses describe purchase, warehouse and dispatch stages; carrier scans describe collection, export, customs presentation and last-mile delivery. A quiet tracking period alone does not prove loss or seizure. Identify which party controls the current stage, check the latest carrier event, and contact that party with the parcel reference and supporting evidence.

Keep the seller capture, invoice, payment record, QC files, parcel declaration, route terms, carrier statement, IVA or duty receipt, tracking history and delivery photographs together. Verify unexpected payment messages through a carrier or government site opened independently instead of following the message link. Before sharing an experience, redact names, addresses, payment details, IOSS identifiers and complete tracking numbers.

No identifiable Portugal-specific customer-review sample was used for this guide. The small public app-store sample visible during research did not document a shipment to Portugal, its declaration, IVA, duty or customs outcome, so it cannot support a claim about Portuguese delivery speed, clearance success or general satisfaction. Official sources establish rules; current route details and an individual parcel result still require direct evidence.
