01

Begin with what LoloBuy actually publishes

LoloBuy's public material describes a cross-border shopping workflow that includes product discovery, warehouse quality-inspection feedback and international shipping. The official Google Play listing also mentions payments and language or currency support; it was dated 13 September 2026 when checked. Apple's official listing showed version 1.0.7 when reviewed on 23 September 2026. These sources support the basic sequence used in this guide: preserve the seller record, assess warehouse evidence, build a parcel and then follow the international shipment.

They do not establish that every product or route is available to every Belgian postcode. They do not publish one permanent Belgium price, guarantee a delivery time, promise customs release, or say that every quote includes Belgian VAT, customs duty and carrier administration. Confirm the live destination, accepted contents, chargeable weight, route terms, tax wording and compensation conditions. A current quote is evidence for one packed parcel on one date, not a nationwide tariff.

02

Save the seller record before paying

A spreadsheet can make product discovery faster, but the seller page is the transaction evidence. Save the original URL, seller name, listing title, selected colour, size or model, quantity, item price, domestic-China delivery terms and capture date. Keep the checkout and payment confirmation. If a listing changes or disappears, the saved record gives the buyer, seller and warehouse team a common description of what was ordered.

Retain category-specific facts. For clothes, save the measurement chart rather than relying on an S, M or L label. For shoes, record foot or insole length. For electronics, note the exact model, plug, voltage, radio functions, battery details and included accessories. For toys, cosmetics, protective equipment, radio devices or batteries, identify the Belgian and EU import or safety evidence required before purchase. Availability on a marketplace is not proof of lawful import or product compliance.

工作清单

✓保存原始产品 URL 和截取日期
✓Record seller, variation, quantity and price
✓Keep measurements, model numbers and included parts
✓Check restrictions and compliance for the category
✓Treat spreadsheet entries as research leads, not guarantees
03

Use warehouse QC for visible decisions

When inspection feedback is available, compare identity, variation, quantity, visible condition, labels and accessories with the saved order. Ask questions that can change the decision: is the stated measurement correct, is the model number legible, is a connector present, is a seam damaged, or is the print aligned? If a critical point is absent and an appropriate inspection option is available, request one focused photograph or measurement instead of a vague recheck.

QC has boundaries. Lighting can shift colour, perspective can distort proportions and packaging can hide surfaces. A photograph cannot establish chemical composition, electrical safety, radio conformity, battery capacity, authenticity or a valid EU declaration of conformity. Use visible evidence to approve, seek clarification or follow the seller and platform's currently available return process. Download the QC files and your decision notes before submitting the parcel.

04

Build Belgian landed cost in four layers

Separate the purchase into four cost layers. The product layer includes the item, seller delivery inside China, currency conversion and checkout charges. The warehouse layer includes only inspection, repacking or protection services actually selected. The international layer begins after packing and includes final dimensions, actual and chargeable weight, route price, restrictions, tracking and protection terms. The Belgium layer contains import VAT, customs duty and any carrier or declarant clearance fee.

Compare live routes using the same completed carton and Belgian postcode. Record the quote date, contents, actual dimensions, billed weight and compensation conditions. Consolidation may reduce repeated base charges, but it is not automatically cheaper: dimensional weight, route bands, restricted goods and the number of tariff classifications can change the result. Label each figure as quoted, paid, estimated or final, then replace estimates with the carrier statement and customs document after delivery.

工作清单

✓Separate product, warehouse, freight and import costs
✓Compare routes using one carton and one postcode
✓Record dimensions, actual weight and chargeable weight
✓Keep VAT, duty and clearance fees on separate lines
✓Replace estimates with final import documents
05

Understand Belgium's VAT and €150 dividing line

Belgian Federal Public Service Finance states that VAT is always due on commercial parcels bought outside the EU. Its current examples use 21% VAT for common categories such as smartphones, laptops, toys, clothing, shoes and watches, while books use 6%. Classification determines the applicable rate, so 21% is a useful standard-rate planning figure, not a promise for every product.

The same Belgian guidance states that conventional import duties apply to parcels above €150. For valuation examples above that line, it adds the invoiced goods value, shipping and insurance to form the customs value; conventional duty is calculated on that value, and import VAT is then calculated on customs value plus duty. A carrier can add a separate customs-clearance fee. The exact result depends on the goods code, value, origin and documents, so do not treat a percentage applied only to the seller price as a final landed-cost calculation.

06

Apply the €3 low-value duty by classification

For online purchases up to €150, Belgian customs now describes a temporary flat duty of €3 per tariff classification. The European Commission says the measure has applied since 1 July 2026 to low-value consumer goods imported from outside the EU. It is separate from VAT and from a carrier's administration charge. Evidence that VAT was collected therefore does not, by itself, prove that the flat duty or clearance fee is covered.

Count classifications, not physical pieces or parcels. Belgian customs gives a worked example in which two pairs of sports shoes under the same code attract one €3 duty. A separate example combines a puzzle, plastic phone case and cotton T-shirt under three classifications, producing €9 before VAT. The Commission similarly explains that five T-shirts in one classification produce €3, while T-shirts and a watch in two classifications produce €6.

This is why both '€3 per item' and '€3 per parcel' are unreliable shortcuts. Material, function and declaration structure can change the goods code. For a shipment over €150, the flat low-value method is not the complete calculation; conventional tariff treatment may apply. Never split, undervalue or misdescribe a parcel to manufacture a lower charge.

07

Check IOSS and tax wording instead of guessing

The Import One-Stop Shop is an EU mechanism that lets qualifying sellers or electronic interfaces declare destination-country VAT for imported distance sales. The Council of the EU explains that IOSS can move VAT collection to the point of purchase instead of the border. It does not make the goods duty-free, remove carrier charges, prove compliance or guarantee clearance.

A Dutch, French or German interface, a euro price or a generic 'tax included' message does not prove that Belgian VAT was collected through IOSS. Read the live checkout and route terms and keep the invoice. Look for order-specific wording that identifies which charge was collected and for which destination. If the evidence is silent, budget for import collection and a possible carrier fee. Ask before parcel submission, and never publish an IOSS identification number in a review or screenshot.

08

Screen restrictions and product safety early

Belgian customs separates the tax question from the question of goods that may not be bought or imported. Check controlled categories before purchase and again before consolidation. Food, medicines, plants, animal products, weapons, endangered-species materials and cultural goods can face prohibitions or documentary controls. Batteries, liquids, powders, branded goods and radio equipment can affect carrier acceptance even when import may otherwise be lawful. Platform acceptance, carrier acceptance and legal import are different tests.

EU guidance says all consumer goods sold in the Union must follow product-safety rules. CE marking applies only to covered categories, including toys, drones, electrical or electronic equipment, some batteries and machinery, personal protective equipment and medical devices. A CE logo visible in a QC image is not proof of valid testing, technical documentation or a responsible economic operator. Check the exact category and Safety Gate recalls. Missing essential evidence is a reason to pause before international shipping.

09

Track the hand-offs and verify payment requests

Save both the LoloBuy parcel reference and the carrier tracking number. Platform statuses describe buying, warehouse and submission stages; carrier scans describe collection, export, customs presentation and Belgian last-mile delivery. A quiet period does not by itself prove loss or seizure. Identify who controls the current stage, check the latest carrier event and contact that party with the reference and supporting evidence.

Belgian customs warns that the sender or declarant may charge for customs formalities. If a message asks for VAT, duty or a clearance payment, do not decide from the message alone. Open the carrier or government site independently, match the amount to the real tracking number and preserve the invoice or assessment. Unexpected fees can be legitimate, but a payment link is not evidence by itself.

10

Keep evidence and treat reviews as anecdotes

Keep the seller capture, invoice, payment record, QC files, parcel declaration, route terms, carrier statement, VAT or duty receipt, tracking history and delivery photographs together. These records help with a damaged-item claim, customs query, tax correction or comparison between quoted and final landed cost. Before sharing an experience, redact names, addresses, payment details, IOSS identifiers and complete tracking numbers.

No identifiable Belgium-specific customer-review sample was used for this guide. The public App Store displayed only five ratings when researched, and its visible comments did not document a Belgian parcel, declaration, VAT assessment, tariff classification or customs outcome. One visible positive comment also reported a personal delivery time without establishing destination or shipment evidence. That is anecdotal, not a basis for a Belgium-wide speed or satisfaction claim. Official sources establish the rules; a current route and an individual parcel outcome still need direct evidence.

工作清单

✓Keep the listing, invoice and payment record
✓Download QC evidence before dispatch
✓Retain the declaration, carrier and tax documents
✓Verify unexpected payment requests independently
✓Photograph the sealed parcel and delivered contents
